Power Tool Guide

Power tools are something all homes should have. If you have been looking for a tool guide, then here it is. This article will give you instructions on what to do and what not do with your tools.

1. Before starting up any tool, read the instruction manual that comes with it properly. If you use a certain tool infrequently, read the manual before you use it each time.

2. Selecting the proper tool for the job is important. Also, use only those accessories which have been provided with that particular tool.

3. All safety guards should be kept in proper working condition and where they are easy to find.

4. Make sure you always wear safety apparel like safety glasses or goggles when using tools. It is very important to wear tight- fitting clothes instead of loose ones as you don't want them to get caught up with the tool and cause an accident. Use gloves if needed.

5. Before use tools, clean hands. This will avoid slippage.

6. Using tools that are worn or have bad cords is a strict no- no.

7. When you are plugging in a tool in a power socket, make sure the switch if "Off". After you finish working, don't keep the tool plugged in. Instead, unplug and put it in its proper place.

8. When you are working, make sure that you don't drink alcoholic beverages as it could make your mind less alert.

Power tools are very beneficial but they should be used with special care and proper attention.
