Made of 26 gauge galvanized steel wire. The wire has a soft gray color that will darken with age. The tree sculpture is planted in a 4" round stainless steel container that is in contrast to the matte finish of the tree. Among the roots are 2 fragments of pink marble.

Made of 24 gauge steel wire that was allowed to rust, producing a warm dark brown color. The tree is bonded to a small piece of slate, covered with sea sand and pebbles, then painted in yellow, green and white India ink. The sand and pebble mixture has the appearance of moss covered earth.
