This elegantly created Cascade lll wire tree sculpture is composed of 22, 24 & 26 gauge gold color wire. The end of each of the small wires is hammered flat creating small leaves. A large distressed rock is interwoven with the root system while the trunk of the tree gently leans on the rock for support. The tree and rock are bound into an oval shaped black glazed ceramic container. The sand and pebble mixture are painted with India ink in greens and yellows, giving the appearance of moss covered earth.
